Wire Trip Hazards A familiar sight on RC structures, and a notorious trip hazard are coils and unused lengths of tying wire scattered around where steel fixers are working. Trip on one of these and you're going down, simple as that. Reelfix is a simple and highly effective solution and used properly, will totally eradicate the problem and help provide a safer workplace for you, your project team and your steel fixers. Flying Ends This is the end of wire not in the steel fixers hand. The razor sharp end that's "flying" around or being dragged along. Flying ends are known to cause lacerations to the face and neck as well as serious eye injuries. HSE Report (see page 101) Reelfix dispenses wire from a 2kg (140M) spool as required for each tie so the only end visible is under control in the users hand. Problem solved. Note We beleive there's no substitute for proper PPE and fully support the wearing of eye protection when working with tying wire products.
